Owners of the Seekarhaus
In 1957, the three brothers - Theodor, Gerhard and Manfred Krings - founded a silent partnership and constructed the first small tow lift on the Grünwaldsee.
Their modest beginnings and a lack of financial means demanded a high degree of personal commitment.
But because of their broader perspective and willingness to take risks, the Gebrüder Krings' company experienced remarkable success.
The small tow of 1957 was followed by additional tow lifts, chair lifts, mountain restaurants, an apartment building, Hotel "Das Seekarhaus" and even a small power station in Mauterndorf, all of which were built and expanded by the three brothers and their wives.
Today's holdings also include a farm in Untertauern and an alpine hill farm in Obertauern in the area of the Seekar, Bärwurzkar, Schwarzenkar- and Koppenalm.
The main business focus of Gebrüder Krings GmbH is transportation services.
