As we all know, the way to a person's heart is through their stomach. Which explains why we are sure that you will find a special place in your heart for our magician of the kitchen, Uwe Koch. Having been acclaimed by such renowned names as Gault Millau and Falstaff, our chef de cuisine conjures up an array of culinary and optical treats for your table. He always serves new, creative ideas, stylishly combined with traditional dishes: Fragrant herbs, tender meat and fish recipes, exquisite sauces, the finest ingredients from our own farm or other hill farms in the region. Accompanied by our sommelier's selection of fine and often surprising wines. And by the time you get to dessert, you will probably have long since realized: It was love at first bite!
Every year since 2007, our kitchen team has been awarded one chef's toque from Gault Millau and also one fork by the Falstaff gourmet guide.
The tables have been set with a fine touch. You are sure to feel right at home from the very first moment in a setting that is rich in character, warm and welcoming - and very much in keeping with the alpine backdrop. And a real sense of ease and space. The tables are far apart, allowing for a more intimate atmosphere. And the same care that went into the ambience, is also reflected in our menus. And our lavish breakfast buffet is filled with a wonderful selection of homemade breakfast dishes. So many of the ingredients come straight from the Krings' own organic farm, which partially explains why everything tastes so incomparably delicious and authentic...
